The HAND AND LIGHTNING BOLT is the WILD symbol. It substitutes for all symbols EXCEPT the scatter and orb symbols. The Wild symbols only appear on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5.
FORTUNATE ZEUS is the SCATTER symbol. 3 or more of these trigger the free games.
The LIGHTNING ORB is a special symbol. 6 or more of these trigger the hold and spin feature.
Special and Bonus Features
Fortunate Zeus has two features players should take note of…
- Free Spins
This feature triggers when a player spins into 3 or more FORTUNATE ZEUS scatter symbols. They will be awarded 6 free games. 3 or more FORTUNATE ZEUS scatter symbols will award players an additional 3 free spins.
- Fortune Link Feature
This is Fortunate Zeus' version of the popular hold and spin feature. If a player spins into 6 or more LIGHTNING ORBS, the Fortune Link feature triggers. The Lightning Orbs will stay in place and the player will receive one re-spin. If more LIGHTNING ORBS appear, the player is given another re-spin. If no more Lightning Orbs appear or the player fills up all the spots the game ends. If a player does fill up all spots they awarded the Super Grand jackpot!
To Play Or Not To Play?
That is the question. And the answer is… yes, with some reservations. Fortunate Zeus has a lot of good things going for it, but we were a little underwhelmed with the special features. Only 6 free spins - and no multipliers - isn't that appealing and the Fortune Link only gives players one re-spin. Typically, these hold and spin features give players 3 re-spins. But the higher bet sizes can lead to some nice wins which might cancel out the underwhelming bonus features. All in all, Fortunate Zeus is worth some of your time during your next session, but probably shouldn't be the featured slot you spin.
